Everyone is mad at Kim Kardashian’s “Ethnic” Inspired Hair

There’s no doubt that Kim Kardashian is one of the hottest trend-setters of today, but when she released these photos of her Diana Ross black woman inspired hair, she really set a “controversial” bar.

There are many of those that find these photos offensive and crude to a classic style that was originated by an African American woman; Diana Ross; but none can deny that Kim wears it…well.

A “most fitting” analysis

The style certainly made a statement, Kim’s curls teased several inches from either side of her face.

The make-up team accentuated her features with inches of product, bronzing her glossy complexion and topping it with rosy circles of rouge, slashes of pastel pink lipstick and heavy blue eyeshadow.

Her eyelashes appeared longer than their usual extreme length, spidering around her brown eyes, which were heavily lined in black.

But this didn’t sit well with some of her die hard fans.

Why is everyone so mad at her hair? Does it really all come down to race? Sound off below

I’ve never been a particular fan of Kim Kardashian but I happen to really LIKE her hair. Cascading curls are always gorgeous. Are certain Americans becoming so sickeningly racist that the simple sight of curly hair infuriates them, particularly on someone non-Black? Wow. I’m fairer than Kardashian. I’m of mixed African-American/italian-American heritage and I’ve been wearing my curly/wavy hair since I was a kid. Does everyone have to fit into a certain “aesthetic” or face verbal retaliation? Anyone who can get upset over the sight of a white or light complexioned woman with something as normal as curly hair should be worrying about their disturbing level of bigotry not the texture of a stranger’s hair.

    Racist chicks…that is all

They seem to be white, black AND latin-equal opportunity ignorance. It’s always women pulling down other women. What a joke they are.

  • Laela

Well the make-up looks a mess but it’s clear those white girls feel threatened some how by Kim’s appreciation of black aesthetics. Look ladies, it’s ok. You are still white women in America, the lie perpetuated by white supremacy that you are the most beautiful is STILL being shoved down our collective throats. LOL. Mad that not everyone is buying it? Geesh, must suck to be so insecure.
